Stay at home if you have coronavirus symptoms
Stay at home if you have any of the following:
- a high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
- a new, continuous cough – this means you’ve started coughing repeatedly
- Loss of sense of smell or tasteDo not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.
If you have these symptoms please arrange to get a coronavirus test as soon as possible.
Testing appointments are for anyone aged five and over. They must be booked in advance: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-getting-tested. Anyone who doesn’t have access to the internet can call 119. The service can be accessed by people with hearing or speech difficulties by calling 18001 0300 303 2713. PLEASE NOTE:
The government has issued updated guidance to hospitals and general practices which recommends that from Monday 15th June 2020, any patient attending general practice are to wear a face covering.
In view of this guidance we would ask any patient attending the practice from Monday 15th June 2020 onwards to wear a face covering at all times whilst on practice premises.
